VoiceThread is an online video and audio blog. It allows people to communicate their ideas about a picture or video using their voice, or text. Many classrooms are using this tool to learn about other cultures and share ideas with people from around the world. We all have somethings in common, but we also have many differences. Voicethread allows us to communicate about topics with people from other countries so we can see how their ideas and opinions of the world are different from ours. The tutorials on this page should help you learn to create your own comments to other people's voicethreads as well as create your own.
Remember, with freedom comes responsibility. Whatever you post to voicethread must be appropriate for school. Students who use voicethread in a way that is not school appropriate will be disciplined the same as if they had done it in the classroom.
